LS Exterior Features

Find the feature you are looking for in one comprehensive list.

At the touch of a button, the available Advanced Parking Guidance System [1] can parallel park the LS or back into a parking space with just a little brake work.

The LS 460 L is available with bold 19-inch diameter wheels [2] [3] constructed from aluminum alloy.

These auto-dimming mirrors automatically tilt down when the LS is placed in reverse.

From High Intensity Discharge headlamps to the Dual-swivel Adaptive Front Lighting System, the LS features state-of-the-art exterior lighting.

By using sensors, available Intuitive Parking Assist determines proximity to other vehicles, alerting you through visual and audio signals.

Gently close the doors and this feature will latch them securely.

The available Dynamic Radar Cruise Control [4] helps maintain a pre-set following distance from the car traveling in front of you.

This labor-intensive process adds luster and depth to the paint’s finish.

The SmartAccess [5] [6] key transmits a signal to the vehicle, replacing the need for a conventional key to open the doors or trunk, and with the push of a button starts the vehicle’s ignition.

The power trunk closer allows you to raise or lower the trunk with the touch of a button.

Daytime Running Lights help make the LS more visible to other motorists during daylight hours.

[1]The Advanced Parking Guidance System requires driver brake control. Always look around outside the vehicle and use mirrors to confirm clearance. [2]18-in or 19-in tires are expected to experience greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be substantially less than 15,000 miles, depending on driving conditions. Please see your Lexus dealer for details and other information relating to tire selection. [3]Do not change the OEM wheel size (19-in for Touring Model, 18-in for all others). Using other than the OEM wheel size could cause damage to the vehicle. If you replace the wheels, be sure they are the same size as the original wheels. [4]Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is designed to assist the driver and is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving practices. Please see your Owner's Manual for important cautions and instructions. [5]The SmartAccess system may interfere with some pacemakers or cardiac defibrillators. If you have one of these medical devices, please talk to your doctor to see if you should deactivate this system. [6]The engine immobilizer is a state-of-the-art anti-theft system. The key transmits an electronic code to the vehicle. The engine will only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key matches the code in the vehicle’s immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key, your Lexus dealer can help, or you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high security key services at www.aloa.org. Back to top
